Your browser asks for permission only when you press the button, never on page load. A small service worker (/sw.js) shows the alert; each event id is shown once.

How delivery works
- Every change is saved with its alert in one database transaction, so a restart never loses or doubles one.
- Sent means the push service or Telegram accepted it. That is not proof it was read.
- Each event reaches each browser and chat at most once. A browser that no longer exists (410) is dropped.
- Quiet hours keep alerts in the feed; nothing is lost.
